Wordless Wednesday (On Tuesday) - Showy Hibiscus are Blooming Again in Florida

I just bought a one year old Nikon D 90 digital SLR for a great price and had to experiment with the flowers in my yard. This hibiscus has buds all over it and soon will be loaded with showy bursts of color. I'll post more when I start to master the camera and believe me, there is a lot to learn :-) My brother Larry has the same model so I have a built in tutor. This shot was taken on a tripod in Aperture mode using  F 5.3, low ISO, shutter speed 1/200 sec.
