Portfest in Port Canaveral, Florida with lots of crafts, great food and music. The Theme was Breast Cancer Awareness Week

Marla and I went to Portfest on Saturday and had a great time. I hope you enjoy this photo essay. Mai Tiki has been making tiki scultures in Cocoa Beach for 40 years. Go to www.maitiki.com. That's the Sun Cruz casino boat in the background.

Grill's Restaurant has a bike pit which is usually full on week ends. They have great local entertainment, cold beer and good food.

The Portfest event was geared toward promoting Breast Cancer Awareness Week with much of the proceeds donated. My Mom had a double mastectomy, so this event was very dear to my heart. Let's hope we find a cure soon and "Save the Tatas". I did my part by purchasing a couple of Coronas. My wife bought 2 pink water bottle cozies and a really nice wooden sculpture. All in all, it was a perfect day for a good cause!
