John Mayer's Real Estate Blog: Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's who are no longer with us. May they never be forgotten.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's who are no longer with us. May they never be forgotten.

Anne and Ginnie were two very special people who could make anyone they met their instant friend. Their cheery smiles and love of life affected everyone around them and the family misses that, especially on Mother's Day. Cherish the smiles that your Mother gives you when she receives that special bouquet of flowers. They are priceless!

Debi - Yeah they're watching - that's what scares me!! "I didn't do it Mom"

Mara and Sheila - Thank you. They were both sweet ladies.

Kevin - 93 is a great run as long as you are reasonably healthy.

Roy - The memories are definitely good, all except the ones about the wooden spoon and my butt :-).

John, you have made your Mom proud of her son, what a gorgeous young woman.  I lost my Mom, August 16, 2004 at the age of 82, she was going to be 83 on August 25th. This was the year my first grandschild was born August 6th. I was on an emotional roller coaster.

Kathleen Ann - I lost my Mom on March 8, 2007 at 80 years young. It never stops hurting, especially on days like today. I just found out my Dad went to the hospital last night with a mini stroke - he's OK. It wouldn't surprise if it was due to emotional distress thinking too much about Mom and Mother's Day.

John, what a lovely photo of your parents. Sorry to hear that your Dad was in the hospital, I will pray for his speedy recovery. Emotional stress does takes its toll on our bodies.

John, Hope all is well with your Dad today.  You are probably right, it may have been too much for him yesterday.

Just remember when thinking of your Mom with the wooden spoon, we are sure she was holding back giggles at your antics, that deserved "the spoon" :)

Enjoy your week and thanks for visiting Lissa!
