I'm always on the lookout for time tunnels.    Thanks for sharing your photos.

The one rocket launch sure looks JUST like a German Rocket from WW2, A little bit of acquired technology I am sure!

John, your old photos remind me of the family trip we took to Cape Caveral when I was a child.

Li - I like time tunnels too.

Robert - You're probably right.

Terry - Keeping it simple is good.

Charles - Do you want dijon mustard and jalepenos? Mmmm

Maria - I'm glad I tweaked your memory.

John, Thanks for the amazing memories of the past. I have never been to Cape Canaveral, but have seen many pictures in book.  Are you a native born there?

Posted by Kathleen Ann Pacheco-Corbett, Realtor, RI-MA, CEBA, Master, e-Pro, ABR, ABRM, GR ((FIRST Exclusive Buyer's Office Providence-RI) ) about 10 years ago

Kathleen Ann - No, I wasn't born here. If I was you would have to call me "Cracker" as in shell cracker. I was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and decided to make Cape Canaveral my permanent home after coming here as a "snowbird" for many years. I sometimes miss Canada and I'll be going back for a visit in August but I love it here on the beach.

Robert - Thank you for featuring my post.

This takes me back, John.  I remember when we put the first (American) man in orbit, the first guy stepped on the moon, and I actually was there for the maiden voyage of Challenger over 25 years ago.  Thanks for the memories!

Posted by Mike Hendren (Mike Hendren Photography) about 10 years ago

Diane, Scott and Debra - Thanks for stopping by.

Mike - That's a lot of good memories. I've seen lot's of shuttle and rocket launches over the years and it never gets old. The Atlas really rattles the windows when it goes up.
