Margaret - I know what it is because I saw it leave the garden. Hint - It's feathered and had a nest in there.

Hey, John. Looks like a momma mallard. Looks like you are going to have your hands full soon. All my best, Jim

Kevin was the first with the right answer and Jim narrowed it down to a Mallard. Thank you all for guessing. It is a Florida Mallard duck. Here is Momma with her 6 ducklings heading down to the water. Sorry for the fuzzy photo but I had to shoot on the run in telephoto mode. Unfortunately, the little ones all disappeared after 3 days, probably the victims of predators. That's why Woody Allen called Nature an "enormous restaurant". :-)

What a sweet duck family you have there!  My first guess was a bird and then I thought maybe a deer.  I thought I was so clever....wrong!

John -- OK, I came straight to the bottom --- my guess is a fox.

Sharon, Liz and Ginger - It was a hard one. Thanks for guessing.

Kevin - I owe you too many Coronas at Coconuts now :-). You're too good at these things. I'll bet you're a Trivial Pursuit master too!
