That looks very refreshing, John.  We have a few piers out my way, too, that I think need some visiting as well.  :)

A perfect day indeed! I went to a restaurant on a pier with my inlaws that looked much like that...Barney's or Bennie's or something like that - for breakfast. Don't remember if this was it or not....

Those beaches look crowded,  Our lake and pond beaches are seeing no one this year, to cold and rainy...

Heather and Cheryl - Just pack a towel and go have some fun.

Dennis - You'll get there!

Wanda - Refreshing is good :-)

Debi - It must have been a memorable experience :-)

Caron - It's crowded on the weekend at the Pier but there are lots of places you can go to get away from it all. Week days are great.

Hey John, just wondering.  Was it the pier I was supposed to be looking at or the blue and white stripes passing by.  What were you looking at?

Not many piers here in Oregon -- too much surf.

Not many bikinis on our beaches...water's too cold, beach is too windy.

But we love it ..in our own, usually well-clothed, way.

Hey Al & Peggy - Can I help it if they just walked into my photo of the pier? :-)

Jim - No bikinis? I guess you can always go fishing. :-)
