John Mayer's Real Estate Blog: Wordless Wednesday - Canadian Misty Sunrise on the Lake

Wordless Wednesday - Canadian Misty Sunrise on the Lake

Taken with my old Toshiba 3 MP camera at Lake Katchewanooka, Ontario, Canada. It's still one of my favorite photos. The fishing was great!

Great photo John, really different seeing you out of your natural habitat though!

Great shot, the mist you captured is incredible!

Thanks Kevin - I'll be going back for a visit in a couple of weeks so I'm going through my old photos. I'll be switching to Carling Ice and Molson's Ex when I get there - in moderation, of course :-) No gators, just 4 foot Muskies!

Wow, what a beautiful shot.  I try to capture the spirit of what's in front of me in my photos too.

John - That is an absolutely mystical looking picture. . .Quite wonderful actually.  About those older cameras with fewer megapixels.  I look back at some of the pictures I took with a 3 megapixel Sony, and still think they are very nice.  I'm convinced that more megapixels aren't totally necessary, unless you are needing very large prints.

This looks more like home for us John.  Were you up visiting recently?

Thanks Charles and Dee.

Myrl - I agree but I wish I'd had a better camera to shoot these special moments back then.

Debi - Thanks for the accolades :-)

Al & Peggy - I'm coming to Toronto for a visit on the 22nd. Look out, the native son is back and I'm packing gators! :-)

Hi John - Great looking photo.  It's been rather humid in the past couple of days and we are supposed to have decent weather this weekend unlike a good part of the summer.

Don't forget to bring the palm trees with you and some cocoa from Cocoa Beach.  Leave your Florida summer humidity down in Florida.

Toronto will be nice and clean again, now that garbage workers have been cleaning up everything since the strike ended.

Give us a call when you arrive, if you have time for a coffee.  Maybe we could figure a plan for people here, buying in Florida.

Marc - I'm glad the garbage will be gone when I get there. I'll bring Cocoa Beach sand.

Wanda - Mostly Bass and they fight like hell.

Al and Peggy - I'll try to call when I come up there.
