Speechless Sundays - Port Canaveral, wings, shrimp, ocean liners and a great band!

Marla and I went to Milliken's Reef in Port Canaveral today, relaxed and had a great time. We had wings and coconut shrimp. You need to take a break every now and then :-)

The Mo Geetz Band is phenominal and features the best guitarist on the Space Coast in Austin Petit. Micah Read is a great vocalist and front man and composes original songs for the band. They are definitly a must see group if you visit the Space Coast.

John, I really do like your tag line! "Life is tough in Florida! Come on down and I'll show you how easy it is to enjoy the good life." Life is tough indeed! And that cruise ship is more than enormous!

John,

Thank you for sharing your Sunday afternoon with us and wow that is a big boat or do you call it a ship?

Hi John, I am always amazed at the size of today's cruise ships.  They get bigger all the time!  Looks like you had a reaxing and enjoyable afternoon.

Thank you all for your comments and yes, that is one of the biggest cruise ships in the world. It's great to be near the ocean and take in that salty air. Great food, music and a Corona are ingredients for a beautiful day!

John - Ocean liners really are floating cities aren't they!  It does look delightful there!  We are expecting a storm tomorrow here in Sacramento.  Those pictures of your's present a reality that looks so far away:-)

Hi Myrl - Most of them ARE floating cities. All you need is a credit card. You choose your words carefully and I loved your last sentence. Florida is only a plane ride away :-)
