John, Right now really is the BEST TIME to BUY! And I would have loved to have seen the manatee! They are very interesting animals!

Sorry Wanda but he slipped under the water before I could capture the photo - maybe next time :-) The deals are fantastic right now in Florida.

John,

Oh my goodness, what a good deal! Homes at half price make it a great time to buy! Unfortunate for the people who are selling though. Thanks for sharing the great pictures.

I want to know what's in the middle of the water in the first picture, making those little waves. Crocodile? Manatee? Snapping turtle? LOL

John, my cousin had a home on one of the canals and we used to sit at the water and watch the manatees cruise by under our feet just a foot or so away...very cool!

I did hear that there was a real estate company that was doing boat "foreclosure tours" for properties on the canals...there were some real deals for folks with some cash in there pockets.

Tony and Darcy - The property I took the pictures from was purchased many years ago, so they are safe!

Carra - Half price is good for buyers!

Russel - It's a manatee.

Nick - Manatees are cool and cash is king!!
