It's not exactly a show car but it got the Surfer Dudes to the beach.

Sun and surf!  what more can you ask for?

Lynda - Those were definitely "Happy Days".

Darren - It's the only way to ride!

Don - I was thinking that car would be great for a movie too.

Shannon - Bikinis? :-)

Pete - Aren't memories great?

From the old to the new. This Lotus Eclipse convertible was parked by Coconuts on the Beach in Cocoa Beach.

It was like stepping back in time to the wonderful days of our youth. Oops, am I telling my age?

The Impala ...how sweet it was/is.  But do they make an electric version?

Ahhhhh, Cocoa Beach, been there many times, even to a surfing contest years ago.  It is a cool place to be and to be warm...

Diane - 29 forever!

Tim - It's a classic alright.

Dan - That's a good thing! They drove like a tank.

Jim - Just put the body on a golf cart :-)

Carra - Was Memory Lane next to Makeout Point? :-)

Evelyn - Cocoa Beach is a "cool" place to live.

John- the car looked like it fit right in!  A "classic" is forever.

Kathy - In surfer speak, it's "far out man".

Cynthia - Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home :-)

John - I know I'm blonde and all, but I'm also very old.  I'm pretty sure that is a 1960 Chevy Impala.  Here's a link to some images to verify it: 1960 Impala images

Man, does that ever bring back some memories!  High school - it sure was fun!  :-)

Posted by Mike Hendren (Mike Hendren Photography) about 10 years ago

Hannah - I haven't seen one in a while either but it's a beauty alright.

Wanda -Old cars always seem to trigger those blasts from the past.

Myrl - You are absolutely correct and I should have checked it out before posting. It is a 1960 and I'll conveniently blame my know it all friend Steve who said it was definitely a 1959.

Hi Mike - I can remember a high school friend driving a 1963 Impala with a 307. It was a cool car!
