John, what a beautiful photograph.  It makes we want to brave the humidity and go to Florida.

Gary - There's no humidity now but July and August will be brutal.

Joyce - It's a calming way to start or end the day.

Hi John, that would be my favorite view at the end of the day too! Nice capture and so peaceful - where's the deck chair and the cool beverage? LOL

John - You and I think alike, composition speaking. :)

I have a series of similar but different photos with the Jefferson Memorial (instead of the sunset) through cherry blossom branches in full bloom and overlooking the Tidal Basin.

Hi Doug - I'm assuming you mean the wonderful Oregon coast.

Leslie - Thanks for the favorable critique!

Mary - There is a group that sets up lawn chairs and watches the sun go down every night. I don't know what's in their cups :-)

Hi Marc - I'll have to check out more of your photos. The ones I have seen are great!

We don't need to be reminded why we leave right here in Florida, do we John?  But, this picture certainly speaks volume of the beauty of our area, doesn't it?
