John Mayer's Real Estate Blog: Wordless Wednesday (almost) - Looking at the World Through Big Yellow Sunglasses

Wordless Wednesday (almost) - Looking at the World Through Big Yellow Sunglasses

Up North, these would be rose colored glasses but we like sunny yellow here in Florida. Just wearing these glasses on the beach will make you see everything in a positive light. Here are just a few of the things I saw:

1) The housing market will rebound with gusto next week and steadily improve along with buyer confidence.

2) No hurricanes will hit Cape Canaveral / Cocoa Beach in 2010

3) BP will finally get it's act together and stop that damn leak before being boycotted out of business!

4) Active Rain will hold a giant beach party "conference" in Cocoa Beach. My band will provide the entertainment :-)

5) Viewing a Florida sunset will allow you to take one less high blood pressure pill a day.

6) Attitude is everything, so keep yours positive!

Put on some sunglasses and tell me what YOU see!!

Ellie - OK, Your beach house will hereby be saved and come down anytime!

Don - I'll vote for that scenario.

Richard - I hope you're right. BTW - Those are magical glasses :-)

Dale - I think they might sell them in Walmart. Have a great night!

I'd like to be down on that beach right about now.  I don't need any special glasses in your area, though. It always looks good to me, no matter when I visit the area!

Cara - No problem! Come on down and pick 'em up :-)

Hi John... I have seen those sunglasses before but never realized that they have such an effect on the wearer's outlook!  Where can I order a few pairs?

Posted by Steve Shatsky almost 9 years ago

I just had Lasik after wearing glasses since the 2nd grade and so I'm loving being able to wear great big yellow sunglasses.

William - Hell just might freeze over before that happens. Why would they do the right thing now?!

Steve - Try your local dollar store. They should be right next to Aladin's Lamp :-)

Marchel - I'll bet you feel much better too!

John - Those sunglasses would fit right into the oversized items in ToonTown in Disney World.

John - I would like to wear those around while showing properties.  If anyone asked me why I had them on, I would claim that they were necessary for my eyesight.

Marc - Sometimes I think I live in Loony Toon Town :-)

Jason - You need them while showing certain foreclosures!

John,

I know its a stretch but I think there's the gratuitous bikiki shot in the upper left hand corner. BTW, my brother is an Optician if you need those glasses in prescription strength.

Hi Rich - "Bikiki" shot? You might want to consult your brother :-) Here you go buddy! This is an old photo (circa 1993) of the Coconuts Bikini Contest Winners in Cocoa Beach. I had an old Minolta 35mm film camera at the time.

Al & Peggy - Your welcome and I can see when you guys retire, it wouldn't take much for you to become Florida snowbirds.

John,

When you said yellow sunglasses, I thought you meant the lenses were yellow which would give a sunny outlook to anything. :)

Sorry Steve, I don't have any of those. I think you need a prescription to get them :-)
