John, what a great scene!  I took a trip to Brevard just last week, it's always a pleasure!

Beautiful.  I used to live on Patrick AFB next to the Banana River.  My friend's house had a boat dock on the river and we would go sailing his catameran.  One day, it was so windy that we were able to outrun a motor-boat!

Great times in FLA!

Mike - Outrunning a motor boat is pretty cool! The winds can blow hard here some days (just like some of the local characters :-)

John,

I would hope that that is a Red night sky and you were enjoying a wonderful sunset.

John, how incredibly beautiful!  My husband and I used to fish in the area when we commuted between Orlando and Delray  Beach.  But you really captured a sight I had not seen in a long while.

Don - It was at night and the sunset was awesome in person!

Thanks Kathy - I'm happy to bring back a little nostalgia for you. I'm sure you have great sunsets in Delray Beach too.

John, I am a fisherman’s daughter. I have heard "Red sky in morning, sailor take warning. Red sky at night is a sailor's delight!" so many times. The photo looks more like a painting. The sky is breath-taking.

Beautiful photo...almost looks like a painting.

John - My dad and mom were avid deep sea fishers.  My mother often repeated that saying, "Red sky in morning, sailor take warning. Red sky at night is a sailor's delight!"  Your photo is spectacular!

John  Fire is the only word to use on that spectacular photo

John, Great photo, really stunning!

Kathleen - I hoped you helped your Dad catch those fish!

John - I worked the photo a little to give it that painting effect.

Myrl - You have to be careful on the open seas and I'm sure you had a great time tagging along when you were a kid. The ocean can be mesmerizing.

Karen - We get a lot of "spectacular" in Florida :-)

Pat - I never get tired of watching my Florida sunsets.
