The G20 Summit in Toronto: Sunday's More Peaceful Photos from my Brother Larry

It was a lot more peaceful at the G20 Summit in Toronto on Sunday although my brother Larry said the cops over reacted in many cases. After the violence on Saturday, they may have been a little nervous and jumpy. Even the horses were wearing riot gear.

Toronto was literally littered with "Road Apples" from all the horses. Larry said they were everywhere and you had to watch where you stepped.

John, those are a lot better photos of the G20 Summit protests!

John -

The pix of the police on horses remind one of the knights of old, visors at the ready.

Tony and Darcy - I would rather see photos like these too but a burning cop car tends to grab your attention. That is precisely the reason they do it.

Jim - I just said that to my wife this morning. All he needs a lance and he's ready to joust!

John, Your brother takes some nice photos. The apples in Canada are much different than the ones here. :P

Thanks Paul, I'll let Larry know. I think you'll find that Florida horses leave a few similar "apples" too :-)

John - Larry could make his living being a photo journalist!  His pictures are amazing. . .Do you know what kind of camera he is using?

Nice to know that only Tea Partiers are violent... otherwise things could get ugly up there.

Myrl - He'll be happy to hear that. He uses a Nikon D90.

Lane - Check out my previous post showing a torched cop car. Things did get ugly the day before.

John - great photos from your brother, excellent perspectives on the two days. Having been in my share of parades, and having made it a tradition for about 10 years to see the Rose Parade, I am pretty sure those Canadian road apples are quite similar to the American ones.

Hi Mike - The horses are pretty cool but obviously too well fed :-)

PRevious comment was tongue in cheek...  Had the tea party protests ever involved violence, the media would go nuts.  These people trash the place and it is a ho-hum.

Thanks for clarifying Lane. There is more to this thing than meets the eye.
