The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Surfing Festival and Bikini Contest is held every year at the Cocoa Beach Pier. The waves weren't 8 footers like the ones generated from Hurricane Earl a few days ago but still provided good rides for the contestants.
Bikini contest entrants posed for the cameras and threw t-shirts to the crowd. They have a contest on both Saturday and Sunday and then on Monday decide the winners. Everyone has a lot of fun, especially the girls.
I bumped into old friend Kenny (black shirt) and it was good to see him again after quite a few years. Ken is stationed at Patrick AFB and is a search and rescue specialist.
