John Mayer's Real Estate Blog: Name That Photo - Sparks in the Halloween Sky

Name That Photo - Sparks in the Halloween Sky

I snapped this photo with my Nikon D90 using my 200mm lens. Can you guess what or who was in the Cocoa Beach sky last night? Hint - It's part of this year's Cocoa Beach Air Show.

Hi John - Likes like a fireworks display at night with your shutter on a slower speed.

Marc - It's not fireworks but similar. Camera settings: F8, 4 sec., ISO 400.

Does this have something to do with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Air Show???

Patricia - Yes it does. Can you guess what's on the front end of the light trail? It's not a UFO :-)

Patricia - Nope. It came out of a plane.

Don - Good guess!

OK - Since no one else is guessing, the answer is a night time parachute jump of the Navy Seals / 101st Airbourne teams.

John - I likely don't have a clue, but will hazard a guess that it was some kind of flare!  You're haveing way too much fun with that D90.  I had a great time with mine last night at a Haunted Wedding, I just blogged about.  These cameras are awesome!

Nick - Check out the new D7000 before you buy. My brother just got his and he says it's amazing!
