John Mayer's Real Estate Blog: Wordless Wednesday - Four Sunsets are Better than One

Wordless Wednesday - Four Sunsets are Better than One

Sometimes I like to to play with my photographs. This effect looks like the beginning of a whirlpool getting ready to lure unsuspecting Realtors into the world of automated REO offers :-) The average price of a home in my area is now around $87,000 and if this is not rock bottom, I don't know what is. There are some great bargains out there but buyers need to know that they have to submit their "highest and best" offer or lose out on a great deal. Multiple offers on correctly priced homes is the norm these days.

Hi John,

I love Florida. One of my top five places to spend time! Your photos are great, there is nothing better than watching the sun set on the water.

Thank you for sharing.

See you in the rain...

John,

Excellent original...and excellent redo. Reminds me of something from a Star Trek movie.

Wow John, for a minute there I thought you had moved to another planet. Great playing with the photos.

Hi Gary - Actually, I have moved to the Andromeda Galaxy. I bought a whole planet for just under 200K :-)

It's fascinating how the 4 sunsets stitched together like that, have created that effect on the water, that appears as a magical mandala.  One could almost scry other realms from that scene.

Thanks Myrl. It's amazing how the digital world can transform photos these days. I love science fiction! :-)

Hi John - Your photo might be quite realistic for a planet in a solar system with multiple suns.

Marc - If I can hitch a ride with Captain Kirk, I'll send some real photos of multiple suns :-)

Ah John, You picture is exceptional!  I love Cocoa Beach!  But, as you and I discussed, I am one of those caught in that whirlpool of automated REO offers.  Interesting how you distorted the picture, as there is a distortion in the process - love the analogy. I think they need to use another word besides automated,
