Speechless Sundays Aboard the Carnival Dream Sailing out of Port Canaveral, Florida

This is the colorful atrium on the Carnival Dream featuring a grand pianist. My wife and I just got back from our 7 day cruise to the Western Caribbean and it will take me months to go through all the photos and videos. I thought I would share these with you until I process the rest. Look for more posts soon! :-)

Hi Bud and Beth - The top photo is of the spiral staircase in in the main concourse atrium on deck three. You can see a piano player on the right.

Wow, John, that is quite the colorful atrium! lol I missed the piano player the first go round!

Hi Maria - The photo is so busy, the piano player is easy to miss. She played beautifully!

John, Must have been really hard to go back to regular life after that Cruise! Hope you adjust well.

Hi Keith - The cruise was nice but the cloudy weather put a damper on things for half the trip. We had a good time but it's nice to be back in "SUNNY" Cape Canaveral! Our beach is better than anything we saw on this trip.

John,

Excellent start...I look forward to seeing more pictures of the cruise.

Rich - I've got some great video of Belize zip lining, cave tubing and driving a crazy gas powered golf cart through major potholles on Costa Maya. Stay tuned!

Too cool!  Don't you just fall in love with your waiter?!?  He always knows your drink and has it waiting and is quick with a smile.  Love crusing!  Glad to see the pics and look forward to more.

John - It looks like you and your wife had a dream vacation!  I have never been on a cruise.  Always have wanted to go on one, but still haven't done it!  Love the picture of the two of you!

Thanks Hannah - We had a good time except for the lack of sun :-(

Posted by John Mayer, Your Beach Area Expert (Oikos Realty, Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach Florida) almost 8 years ago

Thanks Myrl - If you go on a cruise, my advice is to book last minute and check the weather daily. We battled through a tropical storm on the way down and the sun was a scarce commodity the whole time. There were a lot of long faces onboard but through it all, we managed to have a fairly good time.

Robert and Lisa - The piano player is hard to spot with everything else going on in the photo. Thanks for dropping by!

Hi John,

I love your pictures and they are so colorful. Looks like you both had a great time. I have been on Princess and Carnival and they do a great job of taking care of the guests. Next year we are crusing Hawaii since I have never been there!!

Thanks for sharing such a wonderful vacation.
