John Mayer's Real Estate Blog: Almost Edible Gourmet Candles. Yum!

Almost Edible Gourmet Candles. Yum!

My wife and I went to a recent Friday Fest street party in Cape Canaveral and found these "almost edible" candles. She bought several as gifts. Don't they look delicious!! Some of the profits go to charities for breast cancer, domestic violence and homeless vets. Website: AlmostEdibleGourmetCandles.com

Many of you have asked me why I haven't been posting much lately. Family matters have taken priority and everything else (except my clients) was put on hold. It has been stressful but hopefully, we have turned a corner and I can again find the time to chat with my good friends on AR.

Life is just better in Cape Canaveral / Cocoa Beach!

Hi John,

Your pictures are beautiful and they look good enough to eat. I like to buy the sugar cookie candles as they smell so real but when I am dieting I buy Melon or Apple so I won't think about eating cookies.

So yummy looking John and especially with the presentation! Can smell them from here and now could eat one or two! Glad to see you back and hope all is now well our friend. Take care.

John,

Don't think I could ever light one of them and all of the ice cream melt. :)

The creativity of some folks to make such things is amazing!  I'm sitting here thinking how wonderful it would be to have one of those treats in real ice cream form on this very warm day:-)  I agree with Steve, I could never light one.  It would break my hear!

Hi Kristin - These candles smell great even without lighting them. Keep up the good work with those melons and apples :-)

Al and Peggy - Thanks for your concern. It's almost time to smell the lakewater and pine trees in cottage country, eh?

Hi Steve - It's hard to destroy a beautiful candle by lighting it but we can always buy more!

Hi Myrl - Let's all get some real ice cream and leave these ones in the fridge for a while :-)

I love these candles!!! I found one of the stores in candle-country, New England! In Indian Orchard, Mass! I bought so many! but now, it's tiime to reorder! When company comes over they can't get over how really delicious they look!! And the fragrance is out of this world! They burn longer than any candle I know, too! Love this company! Love their candles! Almost Edible Gourmet Candles are all handmade! The greatest, though, is that 25% of the proceeds goes to a charity that benefits Homeless Vets, Breast Cancer, and Domestic Abuse Victims. It makes for a guilt free purchase! We had so much fun at the store, and craved ice cream, so we went and bought an ice cream at Friendly's!
