John Mayer's Real Estate Blog: Wordless Wednesday: Lizard Love

Wordless Wednesday: Lizard Love

As the song says, "What the world needs now, is love, sweet love!" I snapped this photo this morning in my yard and thought I would share a little Florida nature with my friends on AR. It's just what happens in the "wilds" of Cape Canaveral to preserve the species. Maybe National Geo will pick it up :-)

John - That is the perfect picture to be put on tee-shirts and sold at the pier at Cocoa Beach!  You need to work on that:-)

Hi John,

I had to click on this title to see what picture you had to surprise us....and it was well worth it. Thanks for sharing and I hope you sell lots of shirts....everyone will be saying "Oh that is so cute!"

Oh, my John!  This is perhaps way to x-rated for Active Rain!

NAH!  I love it!

Hi Myrl - Great suggestion! Should I send you some royalties? :-)

Kristin - It's cute lizard mating season here and I found another "couple" today. I'll have to take a better photo next time.

Posted by John Mayer, Your Beach Area Expert (Oikos Realty, Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach Florida) over 7 years ago

Al and Peggy - Thanks but that shot is a long way from National Geo quality. I'll have to try again :-)

Hi Patricia - It's just nature in action and you really can't see anything "private" any way :-) Have a great day!

John,

Now I've seen everything!  What were the odds of you being able to capture that photo?!  Nice job!!!!

X-rated perhaps but would it sell T-shirts - yep! A Kodak moment, John. BTW I'm coming over from Patricia's list of favorites.

EEEWWWH lizards.  Always wonder how that happened.  Are you sure they are making love, or is the larger one just killing the smaller one?

Posted by Debbie Cook, Silver Spring and Takoma Park Maryland Real Estate (Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc) over 7 years ago

Ha ha guess there will be some mini lizards around before too long. Oh and the irony of the captcha I got - love-in-a-mist

That is definitely a captured moment that does have merit with the proper slogan on a tee short

Hi Debbie - Trust me.... the only thing on their minds was procreating :-) They split up and both were just fine!

Jeff - There will be a lot of little lizards around soon if the feral cats don't get them. I like 'em because they eat nasty bugs.

Thank Ed - Can I put you down for 2 T's @19.95 each? :-)

John, I absolutely agree with Myrl...you need to get to work on those T-Shirts...I'll place an order now for an X-Large.

John, oh my, our lizards here in Florida have found a way to make the heat more exciting, haven't they?! I think us Florida residents have seen other "love lizards" before, but I have to congratulate you on the great photo you snapped, love it.
