John,

I know it's not on your side of the State, but I'm so glad that there doesn't appear to be any permanent damage to Florida's beach's from the oil spill.

Once again, I must commend you for your photographic prowess.

Rich

Excellent presentation and photography John! Don't you make the beach look appealing!

I'm smiling at Richard's "photographic prowess" label.  That's too cute!  The thing about Florida's beaches that I like in contrast to California's, is so many of them have calmer waters at water's edge than in our state.  I was fascinated by that.  I remember one area in the Keys (Islamorada), the water almost seemed like the edge of a pond, it was so still!

Hey Rich - Our beaches are clear and the oil spill never really affected us. We dodged a bullet there and bikinis still roam the beach as if it never happened. :-)

Al and Peggy - The beach is great but I do miss Ontario cottage country and fishing for bass. It was such a huge part of my life and helped to ground me as a human being.

Hi Myrl - The Keys and the gulf side are usually very tame in comparison to the Atlantic Ocean where the waves are bigger and more "gnarly". Everything is bigger and better for surfing on this side of Florida :-)

Hi John, Great pictures and the collage is so beach like with the bamboo frame. I hope this localism brings you a lot of business. One of the best I have seen. Happy Fourth!

Thanks Kristin - I hope you have a great 4th! The fireworks should be fantastic once again this year on the beach.
