Silent Saturday at Port Canaveral: Ocean Racer and Rusty's Seafood and Oyster Bar

The Canaveral Ocean Racer will take you out to sea with twin diesel engines to view dolphins and have an exciting time on the water. Pictured in the background is Rusty's Seafood and oyster bar which has been a fixture at the Port forever. The early bird specials are great and they have live entertainment on the week ends.

Hi John, I remember that place when I lived in Fla and we would take the Bertram up the Intercostal. Fond memories.

Hi William - The Port has changed a lot over the years but it's still a fun place to be.

I woke to temperatures in the 50s this morning.  I'm looking at the scenes in your pictures and thinking it must be at least in the 80s where you are. . .I'm envious!  Also, the little crab painted on the bow of the boat, is making me hungry!

Hi Myrl - You are right. It will be in th 80's and sunny. Perfect weather to play horseshoes at 1 pm today. A BBQ lunch is only $3.50 too! I don't know if crab is on the menu :-)

John, well that last photo was a bit of a contrast from the others...are those Canadian cows?

John  We enjoyed a sunny 75 degrees today, but no oceanfront bar

Thanks Steve - I sold Rusty the Maine Lobster trap that still hangs at the entrance.

Hi Karen - I went to the beach today and took some photos of the local "wild life". They may, however, not be suitable for AR!! :-) I know Nick Pappas and Rich Iarossi would love it!
