I went to Cape Canaveral's Friday Fest tonight and bought some all natural unprocessed honey. It tastes awsome and I plan on putting some on my Cherrios in the morning. Here is a link to their website. BTW - These photos were taken with my new Samsung Galaxy S4 so they are not up to my usual standards. I just wanted to test the camera. Obviously, low light is a problem for the small sensor. Overall, I like the phone.
From their website:
The benefits of honey have been recognized since the time of the Egyptians and Greeks. It is well known that local honey can provide relief from many allergies that arise in the Spring and throughout the year.
The amount of honey that one should take daily is disputed but most agree that a tablespoon of local honey can relieve the symptoms of pollen related allergies. Would it not be great, not to take any more pills to try to stop that runny nose and tearing eyes? If you include local honey in your daily diet throughout the year, you may not have to worry about those teary eyes or sneezes again. To get the most benefit you need to begin taking the honey one month before you normally have allergy problems.
Diabetic patients are recommended to increase their intake of vitamins and nutrients like B1, B6, B12, C and E as well as Biotin. Unfiltered honey is a good source of all of these vitamins and minerals. An important fact is that honey contains vitamins and nutrients that sugar does not, for digestion. Consumption of limited amounts of honey is believed to help control Diabetes, however, it is important to consult a doctor before adopting this practice.
It is imperative when purchasing honey for Diabetes or allergies, that it is raw honey direct from the hives. Using honey that has been adultered by starch, glucose, sugar or heating will be of no benefit.

Interesting fact about honey. I had never heard about how it can help with pollen issues. I'll give it a try as we have had an awesome pollen season this year.

I continue to be amazed at the quality of pictures emanating from cell phone cameras these days. However, those of us with more pumped up digital SLR cameras, know there can be limitations.
John,
The closer to the actual source, the better the honey tastes. I'm not even sure that some of the stuff they sell in stores nowadays should even be called honey.

Sue - It couldn't hurt to give it a try.
Myrl - The sensors in these phones are too small to actually take photos on a DSLR level despite the megapixels. I'll stick with my D90 for serious stuff :-)
Rich - My brother, the health nut told me the stuff they sell in Walmart isn't even worthy of being called honey. Fortunately, I have a local natural source and it tastes great!
Hi Barbara - That's the best place to get any natural product!
