Susan and Chris won the Jump's Tiny Tavern Horseshoe Tournament on Sat. beating stiff competition. We're talking a lot of ringers here! Congrats!!!
Iraqi war hero Justin at the bar after the tournament. We have a lot of VETS in this area that deserve our thanks. He plays a mean guitar and his story will be coming soon. He was in country when Saddam was pulled out of his rat hole.

John, horsehoes is a very skilled sport and it would be fun to watch! Thanks for supporting our vets with the shout out for Justin!
I love a good horseshoe competition. Vets deserve our thanks in more ways than we can count.
Hi Sharon and Bruce - It takes more than most people realize to ring that peg. I'll be writing an article about Justin soon.
Michael - Horeshoes is a lot of fun and I've won my fair share of tournaments. Our Vets all deserve our thanks!
I always enjoy the pictures you post of the laid back and casual antics in your area, John!
Thanks Myrl - I'm a big fan of your photos as well. You always tell such a good story and the recipes are great!!
John. I remember as a kid playing lots of horsehoes. They must have been lightweight ones made for small people. Your champs look serious.
Hi John,
Nice picture of you holding the trophy. Congrats on your win.
Looks like a lot of fun John. I need to come check that place out sometime.

Hi Pat - They do make rubber shoes for kids and yes, our players are serious but not at the expense of having fun. We're all buddies in the end.
Thanks Kristin - It's always nice to win but even if you don't, it's a good time with friends and live music.
Paul - We'd love to have you play. Come over any time!
