My friend and colleague Brian Boulter passed away too soon in life. He is pictured in front of the parts and service counter. We worked together at Paris Marine in Peterbrough, Ontario, Canada where we sold eveything from Sea Doos to Cobalt Cruisers. I came across these photos on my computer the other day and it brought back memories of Brian and the days at my lake front cottage. It was a fun place to work simply because unlike car sales, people came in because wanted a boat, they didn't need one. When everybody started emailing or texting his favorite saying was "Stop typing and start talking. Give me a call" I think he was right. Although the internet has given us more knowledge, inter personal skills have declined significantly. I prefer to call my clients rather than email or text but I also realize the value of technology. Just pick up the phone or meet in person a little more often. :-) Life is too short to waste it and talking is better than texting.

Great Photos of Brian!
Great Memories of a guy who left this world too early!
Thanks for posting them John!
Hope all is well!

Thanks Matt - Brian had so much more to give and his passing is a reminder of just how fragile our lives can be. All is well in Florida, although I do have a little more aches and pains these days :-)
John - Your friend Brian looks so alive and vital in the pictures. It's hard to imagine that he has passed.
Now for that last picture of you sitting in a conventional office at a desk. That appears so unnatural for you! I keep picturing you relaxed and doing business at one of the beach hangouts with sand getting between your toes!
Hi Myrl - Brian was a great guy and family man who cared about people and his customers. Yes, I was in an office for a lot of my life but I always had the freedom to go outside any time I wanted and smell the roses. My pay check was based on results and I worked hard for it......still do! My buyer of the last house I sold took me out to the Sunset Cafe in Cocoa Beach and would not hear of me paying for anything. I got up on stage with my blues harp joining Paul Christopher and got a huge round of applause. Now that's Florida Real Estate!!
I'm sorry for your loss. What great memories you'll always have!
Thanks Christi - Those were good times, especially when I beat the boss at horseshoes and pool :-) He did BBQ some excellent steaks at the company picnic! I had a Sea Doo up to 70 mph and scared the hell out my girl friend. When we got back, Bill Paris drenched us by doing spins with his own Sea Doo.
