Hi John, This place is beautiful! I have never been to the Bahamas so I have no idea what this place is called...

Never been to the Bahamas, but it is certainly beautiful!

I thought i recognized it --- either Freeport or Nassau? i just remember walking along the market by the sea wall, and a fisherman loaded with conch shells came. Someone on the boat pulled out a conch, sliced it, squeezed lemon juice, then handed it to us to taste. My lord! That was a flavor I couldn't get over ---tasted like a cross between lobster, crab and shrimp. And to think it was straight from the shell, uncooked, and unseasoned except for the lemon juice.

Besides the waters off the Gulf of Mexico (think Destin), they have the most beautiful aquamarine waters.

I am not sure either - but I want to go!  Are you there now?

Come on John, that's easy.  It's the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas.  Have a great day.

Kevin - You are right, of course. It is the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. Next time you're in Cape Canaveral, I'll buy you a beer at Coconuts.

Thanks to everyone for your comments. My wife and I cruised to Nassau in Nov. from Port Canaveral and had a great time. They renamed the "bridge suite" at the Atlantis Resort to the "Michael Jackson suite" after the singer was the room's first guest at $25,000 per night. They have a great aquarium and tourist vans were constantly dropping off sight seers including us. It's not exactly Motel 6 :-)

Beautiful photo.  We were in the Dominican Republic last week and got some good shots there, too.  I think the Caribbean is generally awesome!
