John Mayer's Real Estate Blog: Cape Canaveral Clouds & Sunsets

Cape Canaveral Clouds & Sunsets

I took these photos on Wednesday after my evening bike ride. We haven't had many clouds lately and I liked the effect. Every night the colors change the sky and paint a new picture. It's inspiring and comforting to know that I can walk 2 minutes down the road at the end of each day and witness nature at it's finest. It puts everything into perspective and gets me ready for a new day.

What does this cloud look like?

John,Beautiful photos. Even for me, a Floridian, and I can only imagine how you look at them if you are in the snow somewhere up north.

Your intracoastal is so much wider and more impressive than ours in Daytona.

John - Your photographs are amazing and the first pic would have been enough, wow!

John, I agree with Robert, that first photo blew me away, the rest were also great.  Really beautiful, thank you for sharing them with us!

Nice pics.  Have you taken any of the recent shuttle launch?

John, great photos from the Cocoa Beach Pier. I used to travel to Melbourne a lot in the past and always liked going to Cocoa Beach. Thanks.

Michael - Actually, the photos are of the Banana River Lagoon in Cape Canaveral. I took them when I returned from my bike ride to the  Pier. Sorry if it was ambiguous.

Michael Lee - I only took a short, low quality video of the recent launch and no photos. I have so many from previous launches, they all start to look the same after a while. Still very impressive, though!

Robert, Tony and Darcy - I get carried away and post more pics than I need to sometimes. It's often hard to decide. I need to spend more time showing houses!

Jon - Daytona has it's own great photo-ops as I'm sure you know. I hear it's getting warmer up north. When it's 110 humid degrees in the shade in Florida this summer, we'll be wishing for cooler northern weather.

Hi John, Absolutely stunning! I gasped out loud when the first one appeared on my screen.  And as a Northerner - yes - I'm jealous - no snow here but certainly no scenery like this - a great marketing piece for your location.
